Who is Miracle Jewellery and Crafts??? Miracle Jewellery and Crafts was established in September 2015 by Michelle Du Plessis. Michelle, for many years worked in the corporate environment for a international lighting manufacturer, were she was the area sales manager for the Western Cape. Coming from an artistic family background, Michelle has always had a passion for the arts and crafts. It all started out as a hobby, doing scrap-booking and mosaic while holding down a 8-5 sales job in a corporate environment. The time eventually arrived where some tough decisions had to be made and this was the birthing of Miracle Jewellery and Crafts. What’s in a name??? In November 2013, Michelle arrived home one afternoon after work. Upon entering the home, she tripped over one of our “furry” kids and ended up falling through a pane of glass, cutting her right arm severely. A stranger walking by heard the commotion and came to assist. It is a “miracle” that Michelle is still with us today, because if it had it not been for this kind act from a perfect stranger, Miracle Jewellery and Crafts would not be in existence today. Miracle Jewellery and Crafts still under Michelle, supported by her husband, Deon and son, Ashley, is a small family run business. Michelle focuses on the designing, manufacturing and selling while Deon provides the strategic and long term vision.
